Bio for Bill Caswell, Coach of CEOs and Founder of CCCC
Bill Caswell is an experienced coach of CEOs and senior executives. CCCC’s corporate improvement programs are a natural outgrowth of this high-level coaching. Bill explains his commitment to CCCC and his clients: “For me, it is hard to imagine a greater thrill in life than contributing significantly to a company’s and an individual’s improved performance. My clients’ sense of well being is carried over not only to their work environment, but to their family life as well. I am happy to report that my work gives me this reward every day.”
Bill Caswell obtained his engineering degree at Carleton University, Ottawa. In the early 1960s, Bill worked as a design engineer and was responsible for a number of inventions in the radar field. Under contract to NASA, he spent his early career with the Guided Missiles Range Division of Pan American Airways. With NASA, launching 200 scientific rockets per year into the upper atmosphere, involved the study of the Aurora Borealis, sun spot effects on the earth and polar ice caps.
In 2000, Bill was co-founder and CEO of an e-learning company. He also founded three other high technology enterprises. Bill was founder and president of SPS, an information technology company that developed customized software for financial applications from its offices in Ottawa, Toronto, Halifax, Seattle and Guadalajara, Mexico. Bill sold SPS in 1996 to become part of a billion-dollar company.
Bill has authored many technical papers. His three books include: Notes to My Children, The Best Dam Business Book in the World and The Climb to Excellence. He has 10 more business books in the final manuscript stage that form a series called The Respect Revolution. They deal with how the human element makes companies and other endeavors either work or fail. These business books are very much related to CCCC, in that they focus on the importance of the personality match between the individual and the work or project at hand.
Bill is a dedicated family man. He is also an avid downhill skier and an opera lover. As a hobby, he constructed a six-bedroom ski chalet. Bill is fluent in Spanish and English.
